BUREAU VERITAS TRUST MAKERS CONTRIBUTE TO LADLES OF LOVE'S  2023 SARMIETHON CORPORATE CHALLENGE 

On World Sandwich Day, Friday, November 3, 2023, Bureau Veritas, a global leader in testing, inspection, and certification, proudly played a vital role in the 2023 Ladles of Love Sarmiethon Championship. This year, the event transformed into a four-hour corporate sandwich-making competition.  

14 teams from 10 different companies from both Cape Town and Johannesburg gathered to take part in the Sarmiethon Championship. Their objective was clear:  create as many sandwiches as possible within the tight four-hour time frame. With 140 participants competing across the two cities, the competition as they battled to be the Sarmiethon winners.  

In addition to the competitive spirit of the Sarmiethon Championship, the event featured a touch of lightheartedness. Several additional awards were up for grabs, including "Team with the best 'gees'" and "Best-dressed team" in the engaging Sarmiethon Annual Awards ceremony. 

Bureau Veritas is committed to giving back to the community and was thrilled to be part of this charitable endeavor. The Sarmiethon Championship was not just a competition; it was a heartwarming event that embodied the spirit of giving and unity, as participants, including Bureau Veritas, joined hands to support Ladles of Love's noble cause.
