Launching of our Mentorship programme

We took the International Day of Girls and Women in Science to launch a Mentorship programme on February 11^th.  

The Bureau Veritas South Africa Mentorship Programme 2020 is part of our commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility and commitment to be part of change and positively impact the social environment that our Company operates in.

One of the core objectives for this programme is to enable the students whose studies are funded through Bureau Veritas and the Ithemba Trust an opportunity to build a mentee/mentor relationship, with one of South Africa employees.

Mentors were introduced to mentees and they had an opportunity to set their goals, establish accountability as well as put rules in places for the programme.

The event ended with a close off by Beatrice and Mentors handing over a motivational book as a gift to each mentee as a token of the commencement of the mentee/ mentor rapport.
