Bureau Veritas Government Services: Zimbabwe Consignment Based Assessment (CBCA) Programme

Bureau Veritas, a global leader in testing has been appointed by the Zimbabwean Ministry of Industry & Commerce to implement the Consignment Based Conformity Assessment (CBCA) program.

About The CBCA Programme

The CBCA Programme is a comprehensive conformity assessment scheme implemented by the Ministry of Industry & Commerce of Zimbabwe to ensure the safety and quality of imported products. It requires all regulated goods to undergo verification of compliance with applicable standards and technical regulations prior to shipment. 

How the CBCA Programme Works

• Products subject to the programme must undergo conformity assessment prior to shipment.
• Bureau Veritas will conduct document reviews, testing and/or physical inspection to verify compliance.
• Upon confirmation, we will issue the required CBCA Certificate to enable customs clearance in Zimbabwe.

The CBCA supports safety and quality of products entering the Zimbabwean market.
