On 14 January 2026, Bureau Veritas South Africa welcomed the 2025/2026 Cohort of learners with an interactive and motivational breakfast session at the Johannesburg offices.
The event brought together 27 learners, reinforcing the company’s commitment to building skills and shaping futures together. The breakfast created a platform for learners to network, share experiences, and receive words of encouragement from Bureau Veritas leaders and partners.
The session opened with a welcome from Thilo Fiedler, Vice President of Bureau Veritas East & Southern Africa, who inspired learners to stay curious, strive for excellence, and make their mark. His message emphasized that quality work and professionalism and reliability—regardless of personality type or social standing—are key drivers of career success.
An uplifting talk followed from Yvonne Busisiwe Kgame, representing IThemba Trust, a long-standing partner of Bureau Veritas. Her message highlighted the importance of perseverance and education in unlocking opportunities for future employment and career progression.
